When you stow containers, XPS graphically alerts you to stowage violations. In a scan view or a section view, these alerts appear as stack warnings, red icons, or numerals above or below the individual stacks. In addition, container icons change appearance to indicate a number of errors, such as overstows and multiple containers that are planned to the same slot, as shown in the following figures.

In scan views, a red arrow indicates a stack that exceeds its height limit. However, XPS performs the height validation for a stack only if the weight of the projection group is available. A red diamond indicates a stack that exceeds its weight limit, as shown in the figure. If both limits are exceeded, only the red diamond appears. |

In section views, the remaining stack weight and height display above the stack in above-deck section views and below the stack in below-deck views. If you exceed a stack's height or weight limit, the XPS client displays negative numbers in red, as shown in the figure. |
